[ 2018-11-26 ] On November 23th, Cal Sitjes d’Artés was celebrated, the solidarity concert Mediterranean Dialogues, with the participation of students from the Beit-Al School in Halba (North Lebanon), students of the Municipal Music School of Artés, and the Oyuna Baturova Group, as well as the fun appearance of Albert Vinyes between act and act.
The event, which filled the room, was born from an idea of the Catalunya-Líban Association, and was organized by the Association Horizon for Syrians and the Municipal School of Music of Artés, with the support from the Town Councils of Artés and Barcelona. We should mention the contribution both committed and disinterested from the Oyuna Baturova Group and the clown Albert Vinyes.
Institutionally, the presence of the General Director of International Cooperation of the Generalitat, Manel Vila, the president of the Comarcal del Bages Council, Agustí Comas, the Mayor of Artés Ernest Clotet and the Councilor for Education Eli Carracedo.
At the end of the ceremony, the opinion of the attendees was practically unanimous: very positive.
The total revenue collection of the tickets will be allocated by the Catalonia-Lebanon Association to aid projects for Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
